YouTube

Buzzator uploads videos to YouTube, with control over the title, description, tags, category, and visibility, plus an optional custom thumbnail and the compliance flags YouTube requires. YouTube is video-only — every post needs a video file.

Video only

A YouTube post is a video upload. If you try to publish without a video, Buzzator rejects it with a prompt to add one — a still image on its own can't become a YouTube post. Images are only used as a custom thumbnail for the video.

Formats and limits

Setting Limit
Title Up to 100 characters (defaults to the caption's first 100)
Description Up to 5,000 characters (defaults to the full caption)
Tags Up to 30 characters per tag, 500 characters total
Video Up to 256 GB, 1 s–12 hours, MP4 / MOV / AVI / WMV / FLV / WebM
Custom thumbnail Any image (optimized on publish); Manual Composer only
Publishing rate About 6 uploads per day (YouTube API project quota)

Fields

Everything below is optional — leave a field blank and Buzzator falls back to a sensible default.

Field Notes
Title Overrides the auto-title (the caption's first 100 characters).
Description Overrides the default (the full caption).
Tags Comma-separated. YouTube may remove videos with misleading or unrelated tags.
Category Pick from the common categories; defaults to People & Blogs.
Custom thumbnail Upload from your device or pick from the Media Library. Optimized for YouTube on publish.

Visibility

Set who can find and watch the video:

Visibility Who can watch
Public (default) Anyone can search for and view it.
Unlisted Only people with the link.
Private Only you and people you choose.

Compliance toggles

YouTube requires these disclosures, and Buzzator surfaces them in the settings panel:

  • Made for kids — required if the content is directed at children under 13 (COPPA). When on, YouTube disables personalized ads, comments, and notifications on the video.
  • Altered or synthetic content — turn on if the video contains realistic content that was AI-generated or significantly altered. Defaults on for AI-generated video; you can turn it off for manual uploads.
  • Notify subscribers — on by default. Turn it off for back-fills or frequent uploads so subscribers aren't over-notified.

You certify compliance on publish

Publishing certifies the video complies with YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You can revoke Buzzator's access at any time from your Google security settings.

Comment replies and analytics

  • Inbox — YouTube supports comment replies. Buzzator shows the comment tree under each of your videos and lets you post a new top-level comment or reply to an existing one. See Inbox: messages & comments.
  • Analytics — supported. YouTube's terms require an attribution wherever its data appears, so analytics cards display Data via YouTube API · youtube.com. See What each platform reports.
