Notifications & settings

Stay on top of what's happening in your workspace with in-app and browser notifications, and manage your account from the Settings page. This page covers both.

Notifications

Buzzator keeps a running list of notifications — a post published, a mention, a team change, and so on. The bell icon in the top bar shows your unread count and the most recent few; the full history lives on the Notifications page (/notifications).

Managing your list

From the Notifications page you can:

Action What it does
Mark as read Clears the unread indicator on one notification.
Mark all as read Clears every unread indicator. Nothing is deleted.
Dismiss Removes a single notification from the list.
Delete all Clears your entire list (with a confirmation prompt).

You can filter the list by type (for example Mentions or Assignments), and load older notifications with Load more.

How long notifications are kept

Read notifications are cleared automatically after 30 days, or once you have more than 300 of them (oldest first). Unread notifications are never auto-deleted — they wait until you act on them.

Browser (web push) notifications

You can also receive notifications in your browser. Enable web push, then choose which categories you want pushed to your device:

Category Covers
Posts & Generation Post created, generation completed or failed.
Inbox & Messages New messages and conversations.
Team & Assignments Assignments, role changes, new members.
Brand Intelligence Knowledge updates, conflicts, ingestion status.
General System updates and everything else.

Manage these toggles under Settings → Notifications. When push is active, the page confirms it's enabled on the current device.

The Settings page

Open Settings (/settings) to manage your account. It's organized into tabs:

Account

  • Profile — update your display name and profile picture. Your email address is shown but can't be changed here.
  • Danger zone — permanently delete your account and its data. You type DELETE to confirm; the account is then scheduled for removal, and the data is deleted within 30 days per the data-deletion policy. Some legally required records are retained as the law requires.

Deletion has a grace window

Requesting deletion schedules it — contact support within the grace window if you need to cancel. Protected accounts (platform staff and review/test accounts) can't self-delete.

Notifications

Your web-push preferences — the per-category toggles described above.

Plan & Billing

View your current plan and usage; owners manage the subscription, payment method, invoices, and cancellation here. See Plans, limits & billing.

Where connections and API keys live

Two related surfaces live outside these tabs:
