Pinterest

Buzzator publishes pins to Pinterest — image pins, carousel pins, and video pins. Every pin is saved to a board, so choosing (or creating) a board is a required step. This page covers the pin types and the fields on each.

A pin always needs a board

Pinterest saves every pin to a board, so you must pick one before you can publish. In the per-platform settings, choose a board from the dropdown — or use + Create board to make a new one inline (name, optional description, and a Public, Protected, or Secret privacy level). The new board is selected automatically.

No board, no pin

Publishing is blocked until a board is selected. If you haven't created any boards yet, make one with + Create board first.

Pin types

Type What you attach
Image pin A single image.
Carousel pin 2–5 images the viewer swipes through.
Video pin A video plus a cover image (see below).

Video pins need a cover image

A Pinterest video pin requires a still cover image. Attach an image alongside the video and Buzzator uses it as the cover; without one the video pin can't be published.

Analytics and inbox

  • Inbox — not available. Pinterest doesn't expose DMs or pin comments to general apps, so there's no Pinterest inbox in Buzzator.
