TikTok

Buzzator publishes video posts and photo posts (TikTok's swipe-through Photo Mode) to TikTok. Every TikTok post needs media, you must pick a privacy level before it can go out, and you choose whether it publishes straight to your feed or lands in your TikTok drafts. This page covers those choices and the limits.

Formats and limits

Setting Limit
Caption Up to 2,200 characters
Formats Video post, Photo post (1–35 photos)
Photo title Up to 89 characters (the headline above a photo carousel)
Video Up to ~1 GB, 3 s–10 min, MP4 / MOV / WebM
Photos JPG, PNG, or WebP
Media Required — TikTok rejects text-only posts
Publishing rate 6 posts per minute; 5 pending drafts per 24 hours

Video length depends on your account

Your account's real per-video ceiling comes from TikTok and varies (new accounts are often capped at 60 seconds; verified accounts get longer). The Composer shows your account's actual limit and blocks publishing a video that exceeds it.

Video vs. photo posts

Pick the format in the per-platform settings:

  • Video post — a single video. On a video post, your caption is also the title (TikTok videos have one text field), so there's no separate title box.
  • Photo post — TikTok's Photo Mode: one or more photos the viewer swipes through. Photo posts add a separate Title (the headline, up to 89 characters, pre-filled from your caption) and, for multi-photo posts, a Cover slide picker.

AI Composer makes photo posts

The AI Composer can't generate video yet, so it defaults TikTok to a photo post. Use the Manual Composer to publish a video you've uploaded.

Choose a privacy level (required)

TikTok requires you to actively choose who can see the post — there is no default. Publishing is blocked until you pick one:

Privacy Who can see it
Public Anyone
Friends Mutual-follow friends
Followers Your followers
Private Only you

Only the levels your TikTok account allows are selectable; the rest are shown disabled with the reason.

Publish directly or send to drafts

The Posting method controls where the post goes:

Method What happens
Publish directly Auto-publishes to your feed. Requires TikTok's direct-post permission on the connected account.
Send to drafts Lands in your TikTok app inbox; you finish and post it from the app.

Commercial-content disclosure

Turn on Disclose post content when the post promotes a brand or product. When it's on, you must check at least one option:

  • Your Brand — you're promoting yourself or your own business. Labels the post Promotional content.
  • Branded Content — you're promoting another brand or a third party. Labels the post Paid partnership.

Branded content must be public

TikTok requires branded content to be publicly visible. When you check Branded Content, the privacy level is locked to Public — it cannot be set to Private or Friends. A label added this way can't be changed once the post is published.

Interaction options

  • Allow comments — on video and photo posts.
  • Allow Duet and Allow Stitch — video posts only (TikTok doesn't apply these to photos). If you've disabled either in your TikTok privacy settings, it's greyed out here.
  • Add TikTok-selected music — asks TikTok to auto-pick a soundtrack; the specific track can't be chosen through the API.

Posts take a few minutes to appear

After you publish, it can take a few minutes for the post to show up on your TikTok profile.

Inbox and analytics

  • Inbox — not available. TikTok doesn't expose comment read/reply to Buzzator's connection type, so there's no TikTok comment inbox.
  • Analytics — supported. See What each platform reports.
