Managing brands¶
A brand is a self-contained workspace — its own accounts, posts, analytics, and Brand Kit. The Brands page is where you create brands, switch between them, rename them, review their stats, and remove the ones you no longer need.
Owner-only page
Only organization owners can open the Brands page. If you're an admin, editor, or viewer, you'll see an Access Denied message — brand management belongs to the owner. You can still switch brands from the workspace switcher in the top bar.
Creating a brand¶
Click New Brand, type a name (up to 100 characters), and click Create.
A few rules apply to the name:
- It must be a name, not a link — a URL-shaped value (e.g.
https://…orwww.example.com) is rejected. - It has to be unique within your workspace — two brands can't share the same name (case-insensitive).
A brand new-created here starts with an empty Brand Kit, which you can then fill in or auto-fill.
Switching the active brand¶
Click a brand's logo tile to make it the active brand. Everything else in the app — the composer, calendar, inbox, analytics — then operates on that brand. The active brand is marked with an Active badge.
Clicking the tile only switches the workspace; it does not open settings. To edit a brand's Kit, use Settings (see below).
Tile and list views¶
Use the view toggle in the toolbar to switch between:
| View | Best for | Per page |
|---|---|---|
| Tile | Scanning many brands visually (logo-forward cards) | 24 |
| List | Detailed rows with inline rename and actions | 10 |
Your choice is remembered across reloads. Use the search box in the toolbar to filter brands by name.
Renaming a brand¶
In list view, click the brand's name to edit it in place. In tile view, open the brand's ⋯ (more actions) menu and choose Rename. Names are capped at 100 characters and follow the same rules as creation.
You can also rename a brand from its Brand Kit page.
Brand insights¶
Click Insights (tile view) or the chevron next to a brand (list view) to load that brand's stats on demand:
| Metric | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Posts | Total posts in the brand |
| Drafts | Posts still in draft |
| Scheduled | Posts queued to auto-publish |
| Published | Posts already published |
| Team | Members in the organization |
| Brain | Documents in the brand's Brand Brain |
| Campaigns | Campaigns created for the brand |
| Storage | Media storage used, in GB |
Insights load only when you open them, so the page stays fast.
Resetting a brand's Kit¶
Open the brand's ⋯ menu and choose Reset brand kit. You'll be asked to type the exact brand name to confirm. A reset:
- Clears the logo, colors, fonts, and voice & guidance.
- Erases the brand's uploaded files, media, and learned knowledge (its Brand Brain).
- Keeps the brand itself, its name, timezone, connected accounts, and published posts.
Think of it as wiping the brand back to a clean slate without deleting it — the same result as Reset brand kit on the Brand Kit page.
Deleting a brand¶
Open the brand's ⋯ menu and choose Delete brand kit.
Deletion is permanent
Deleting a brand permanently removes all of its posts, analytics, and Brand Brain knowledge. There is no undo.
To guard against accidents, deletion has two gates — both are required before the button activates:
- Type the exact brand name into the confirmation field (a copy button next to it copies the name for you).
- Tick the acknowledgement checkbox confirming the action is permanent.
You cannot delete your last remaining brand — every organization must keep at least one.
Shared with you¶
If someone in another organization has granted you access to one of their brands, it appears in a Shared with you section at the bottom of the page, labeled with the owning workspace and your role there.
These brands are read-only from the Brands page — you can't rename or delete them, because they belong to another organization. Click Open to switch into a shared brand and work inside it (write posts, view analytics, and so on) as your assigned role allows. See Roles, permissions & brand access for what each role can do.
