Managing your team¶
Bring teammates into your workspace, give each one the right role and brand access, and manage members and pending invitations from one place. Team management lives in Team settings and is available to owners and admins.
Inviting members¶
Open the invite composer, enter an email address, and assign the person the brands they should be able to work in. Each new invite row starts at the Viewer role; pick a per-brand role — Viewer, Editor, or Admin — for every brand you grant. Only an owner can grant the brand-level Admin role.
- Every invite must have at least one brand assigned before it can be sent.
- You can queue several invites at once (up to five rows) and send them together as a batch.
- The invitee receives an email with a single-use link to accept.
Batch invites are all-or-nothing on validation
When you send a batch, the whole set is validated first. If any invite fails a check — a seat-limit overrun, an out-of-scope brand, or a role you aren't allowed to grant — none of them are sent. Addresses that are already members, or that already have a pending invite, are silently skipped rather than duplicated.
Accepting an invite¶
The recipient signs in and opens the invite link. Two rules apply:
- The email must match. The account accepting the invite has to use the same email address the invite was sent to. A different address is rejected.
- A seat must be free. If the workspace is already at its member limit when someone tries to accept, they can't join until the owner upgrades the plan.
Invited teammates skip the personal onboarding wizard — they land directly in the workspace they joined.
Seats and pending invites¶
Your plan's team-member limit counts current members plus every pending invitation.
Pending invites hold a seat
Because an unaccepted invite already reserves a seat, you can hit "limit reached" even when fewer people have actually joined. Revoke a stale pending invite to free its seat, or upgrade the plan to add capacity. See Plans, limits & billing.
Invitations expire¶
| Property | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Lifetime | An invite link expires 7 days after it's issued. |
| Single use | Each link works once; accepting marks the invite complete. |
| Resend | Resending an invite rotates its link (the old one stops working) and resets the 7-day clock. |
| Revoke | Revoking a pending invite removes it and frees the seat it held. |
Roles at a glance¶
Every member has one platform role. What each can do:
| Role | In short |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control, including billing and team management. Immutable. |
| Admin | Manage the team, publish, schedule, and edit — within their granted brands. |
| Editor | Create, edit, comment on, and approve posts; can't publish or schedule. |
| Viewer | Read-only: view content and analytics. |
For the full permission matrix and how per-brand access works, see Roles, permissions & brand access.
Changing roles and removing members¶
Owners and admins manage members from the User Management table.
- Change a role or edit a member's per-brand access inline.
- Remove a member with the delete action in the row.
A few boundaries are always enforced:
- The Owner role can't be changed or removed, and no one can be promoted to Owner.
- Only an owner can add, modify, or remove an admin.
- A brand-scoped admin can only manage members and invites within the brands they themselves manage.
Tip
Role and permission changes can take up to about a minute to fully take effect across the app.
